Octopuses run on three hearts. Here's the weird part. Two smaller hearts push blood through the gills; one main heart supplies the body. But the moment an octopus swims, those two gill hearts actually stop pumping. That oxygen drop tires them out fast — so octopuses crawl along the seafloor instead.
