You know the ocean surface. But go deeper - it gets wild fast. Down to 200 metres, sunlight still reaches - it's crowded, chaotic, alive. Below 200 metres, sunlight disappears. Animals here make their own light just to find food. But the midnight zone - this is where things get genuinely unsettling. The pressure at 4,000 metres is so extreme it shrinks a styrofoam cup to the size of your thumb. And at the very bottom of the Mariana Trench - nearly 11 kilometres down - fish still live there. Here's the wild part - over 80% of the ocean is still unmapped. We know more about the Moon's surface. The ocean is mostly mystery. Follow along - there's so much more to explore.
